What's a sex menu? Why do I need one? How can it help me?

What's a sex menu? Why do I need one? How can it help me?

A sex menu is a personalized list of sexual activities to guide you in knowing your "hell yes'" and "hell no's' in the bedroom (or elsewhere).

Having a sex menu doesn't mean you're obligated to share it however. It can be a personal journey of self-discovery, helping you define your ideal experience. If you're feeling secure and adventurous, you can share this menu with a committed partner, a recent love interest or even someone you're getting to know on dating apps.

Knowing what you want and what you desire is EMPOWERING. When you know what gets you going, and what doesn't, it gives you the tools to communicate with current and potential partners.

5 reasons a sex menu is awesome. It can help you...

  1. Explore more of what you desire

  2. Know if you’re sexually compatible with someone

  3. Set effective boundaries around what you don’t like

  4. Have effective consent conversations

  5. Discover new areas you desire to try

How do I create a sex menu?

Well luckily Madam Peach has created one just for you. But it might be helpful to start with some stream of consciousness writing. Set aside 15 mins (time it!) and spend 5 mins free flow writing what comes up under each of the headings below. I recommend starting with this free-flow and then following the links to some templates and spicy inspiration of activity.

Some basic headings you can start with:

  • What I like...

  • What I don’t like...

  • What I would like to try...

You can also spice these headings up with your own personal touch! For example:

  • Things that make me scream HELL YES!

  • Things that make me go hell to the nope!

  • Things that make me think mmmm I might be into that?!

Anything that makes this exercise extra sexy for you is a WIN.

Feel better just taking it easy? Check out the links below if you need a little extra inspiration...
